It’s been almost two years since The Used spent two consecutive nights in Cologne’s Bürgerhaus Stollwerck with their 15-year anniversary tour to perform their first two works in their entirety live and to celebrate their band’s history together with their fans. Meanwhile, this tour has gone by, they have worked on a new album and this has also been published. “The Canyon” is the name of the seventh The Used Album and was released last autumn. The quartet moves a bit back to its roots, focusing mainly on guitar, bass and drums. Of course, a new album also wants to be played live, which is why the band not only went on an extended tour of America, but also come to Europe for some shows next month. Among these shows is also an exclusive German show in the coal mine in Bochum. If you want to see The Used live with new (and old) songs and want to sweat in the collective, you should go to this show. Who knows if it will take another two years for the band to return to Germany from Utah.
Update: Unfortunately, the band had to cancel the entire tour due to a death in a family of a member , The dates should be made up however. Here’s the band’s statement:
“Due to a recent family death, The Used are saddened to announce the cancellation of their upcoming U.K. and Europe tour.
Love, The Used “
